Become an 8:08 Prayer Partner
Nehemiah 8:8 and Acts 8:8 remind us that when God's Word is made clear, understanding follows, and where His presence moves, joy follows. We're inviting our community to carry that theme into a daily habit of prayer.
Set a daily alarm for 8:08am, and when it goes off, pause to pray for the students and teachers of Farragut High School:
- Pray for purpose: that they would understand who they are and why they're here, just as Nehemiah 8:8 describes understanding breaking through.
- Pray for protection: covering them physically, emotionally, and spiritually throughout the school day, so that joy, like in Acts 8:8, would mark their lives.
Adopt a class!
Is your small group looking for a way to a difference at Farragut High School? Adopting an ALC class might be exactly what you're looking for. When your small group adopts an ALC class, you'll be asked to:
Praying regularly for the students and teachers at FHS—their challenges, their growth, and the ways God is at work in their lives.
Encouraging them in tangible ways, like providing treats or meals, writing notes of encouragement, or any small gestures that reminds them they're seen and supported. Contact chris@alcfarragut.com if interested.
